ABOUT
The video and structural installation are conceived as alternative choreographic depictions of daily environments. The video piece presents the manual installation process of the bull fighting arena as choreographic bodies of work and labour.
The film, Industrial Ballets, (20 mins), observes the manual installation process of a bull fighting arena in the small town of Blanca, Spain. This cinematic observation begins to decode the choreographic bodies of work and labour, embedded within highly physical practices of construction, as choreographies that were one invisible become visible.
