6.58: MANIFESTO
6.58: Manifesto takes a stance in the form of a choreographic triptych where 6 dancers interact with a machine, an opera singer and a DJ, to explore the concepts of artifice and artificiality as implicit constructions of our contemporary society. In our post-industrial reality, artificiality is intertwined with our bodies and minds; where artifice taints our interactions and experiences. Here, performers collectively go through, experience and negotiate the vision we have of tomorrow's human being.
6.58: Manifesto est un prise de position sous la forme d’un triptyque chorégraphique où 6 danseurs interagissent avec une machine, une chanteuse d’opéra et un DJ pour explorer les concepts d’artifice et d’artificialité en tant que constructions implicites de nos sociétés contemporaines. Dans notre réalité post-industrielle, l’artificialité s’entrelace à nos corps et nos esprits; l’artifice teinte nos interactions, nos expériences. Ici, les performeurs traversent collectivement, éprouvent et négocient la vision que nous avons de l’être humain de demain.
